We run our own studio on Claude every day: it reads server logs, pulls monthly reports from Google Analytics, Search Console and Ad Manager through their APIs, loads advertising bookings and drafts correspondence, all under rules that keep a person in charge of anything that leaves the building. What does Claude cost for a South African business?

Is Claude safe to use with company data?

Anthropic does not train on business or API data. We connect Claude through scoped service accounts so it sees what a task needs, not the whole company, and sensitive data stays on infrastructure you control.

Which jobs is Claude good at in a small business?

First-draft correspondence, reporting from systems with APIs, research and summarising, data cleanup, documentation and monitoring. Anything repetitive and judgement-light where a person checks the output. It is not a replacement for the person; it is the junior who never sleeps.

What is Claude Code and do we need it?

Claude Code is the developer and operations tool: Claude working in a terminal with access to servers, repositories and APIs. Most small businesses do not need it on day one. It is included in a Business rollout when Claude is going to run infrastructure or reporting for you.

How long does a rollout take?

A personal Desktop setup is done in a week. A business rollout is typically two to three weeks: mapping, access, rules, two weeks supervised, then handover with a playbook and a monthly review.
